When Sharon Yenterr and I wrote the first Blended Quilts book we had a photo shoot with grandmas and grandchildren: Sharon with her 2-month-old Zachary(on the left) and me with Katie (3-1/2) and Jack (14 months). Both of my grandchildren had colds and Katie had a black eye (she ran into the garage door as it was coming down). Rescheduling until everyone looked better wasn't possible so we tried it any way --- and I'm so glad we did. The quilts in the photos are from the book.
